The Crocus Technology CT41x XtremeSense TMR sensors are now available from Mouser. These TMR sensors use the proprietary XtremeSense TMR technology to give high-accuracy current measurements for several consumer, business, and industrial applications. They are high-bandwidth, ultra-low-noise integrated contact current sensors.
Eight different current ranges are supported by these components, and the integrated CCC can manage up to 65A of current while producing a current measurement as a linear analog output voltage. At a current consumption of about 6mA, the eight-lead, SOIC-packaged sensors offer a total output inaccuracy of roughly 1% full-scale (FS) and a 300ns output reaction time. A filter function reduces the output pin noise.
The sensors of current are often used in appliances, power supply, motor control, solar and power inverters, and battery management systems.
